Perchè Grimsley?
Beh è molto semplice Mark è un altro degli autori attuali che riscuotono la mia ammirazione ,basti dire su tutto che ho letteralmente divorato la guida che ha scritto sul campo di battaglia di Gettysburg,anzi è stata un'utile compagna di viaggio quando mi sono recato in Pennsylvania.L'autore come dicevo è un militare di carriera,un tecnico e nel corso delle mie ricerche,spesso su internet mi sono imbattuto in articoli scritti da lui.
Ha un stile asciutto e scorrevole che lo rende facilmente accessibile ai più,caratteristica che ritengo sia necessaria quando si parla di argomenti non proprio semplici.Allo stesso tempo Grimsley è però un profondo pensatore e tutte le sue affermazioni sulla storia militare in generale e in particolare sulla guerra civile americana,sono corroborate da un background che ne mette in risalto lo spessore.
Questo è uno dei motivi per cui mi auguro di avere al più presto materiale su questa conferenza

In fact, (in 2005), Thomson, following the logic of economic neoliberalism and globalization, he decided to relocate its production in developing countries where production costs are extremely low. So he decided to sell the property of the establishments Anagni ad una multinazionale Indiana, la Videocon.
In accordo con il governo e i sindacati la Videocon si impegnò a garantire l'occupazione di 1500 dei 2500 dipendenti dell'azienda per 3 anni. E tanti ne sono passati. In questi tre anni, secondo quello che dicono i dipendenti, non è stato prodotto neanche un televisore. I lavoratori si sono limitati ad assemblare materiale importato dall'estero per poter usare il marchio "Made in UE", nonostante la presenza, nei locali di lavoro, di macchinari tecnologicamente all'avanguardia per produrre televisori al plasma.
Ora gli indiani hanno deciso di cambiare il piano industriale concordato 3 anni fa, con il chiaro intento di tagliare drasticamente il personale, mettendo a rischio il posto di lavoro di 1400 dipendenti.
Questa situazione non è unica, ma si aggiunge ad altre situazionio di crisi che riguardanio grandi aziende del nostro territorio, con un totale di circa 17 mila posti di lavoro in pericolo.
Il video pubblicato, da noi realizzato, descrive la situazione dal punto di vista degli operai.
Ed esprime tutta la nostra solidarietà a chi rischia il lavoro e la garanzia di un futuro tranquillo per se e i propri famigliari.
